Learning about careers
Broadening horizons about the world of work- you are never too young to start thinking about the job you would like! Research shows that young people who participate in Career Education increase their knowledge about types of work and the pathways that could be followed to get there. Pupils can become more confident about their ability to achieve their aspirations. It can also impact on engagement with school and academic achievement. At St George's, we take every opportunity to teach children about the exciting world of work and higher education. By making connections with local companies and inviting speakers in, we want our children to broaden their horizons and think about their future.
