Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

We aim to provide ambitious learning opportunities, promoting achievement in every area and nurturing social, emotional and spiritual well-being for all our pupils.  The inclusive nature of St George's Hanover Square means that all children will be able to shine in the world as Jesus shines.

Some children may require special support or provision to achieve in all areas of school life. Their needs are identified and assessed according to the national code of practice which considers cognition and learning needs; social, emotional amd mental health difficulties; communication and interaction needs; and sensory and/or physical needs. Support is provided in school or sometimes from outside agencies for those who need it.

Our school Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) is Mrs Rachel Collaco
