On Thursday 19th January Form 6 visited the RAF Museum as part of their project on ‘The Battle of Britain’.  The children learned about the different roles of members of the RAF during the war and about the clothes that pilots and airmen and women would have worn.  They were lucky enough to all be able to try on genuine period garments used during the war and then investigate the wide range of planes that the British forces used to defeat the German enemy of the time.  It was a thoroughly enjoyable and educational day.
